It was a hot and sunny afternoon. My school brought us to the Botanical Garden. We were all very excited, we couldn’t wait to go there. Our task was to look and get some interesting information about different stations(at botanic garden)and create a brochure to attract more people to visit the Botanic Gardens.

After we visited a few stations, we went to the Eco Lake. There, we found two black swans swimming together (how romantic). We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery potrayed at the Eco Lake. It was quite a sight. We took our time to snap some pictures as we LOVED it there. But, because we spent so much time there, we got a little scolding from our teacher and began setting off to the next station.
Next, we went to the fruit tree collection. There, we managed to see different kinds of fruit, but sadly, they are inedible as they have dropped on the floor and may have insects in it (very dirty).
One of the last few stations we went to was the Foot Reflexology Path (You can bring your parents or grandparents there. You can even try it yourself). It was a long walk. We wanted to try walking bare footed on the path, but it looked painful so we gave up the idea. We then set off to go back to school. It was a nice experience.
We learnt that wildlife is very important as without them, we won’t have food to eat and may not have enough oxygen for survival. Without the plant life, we will not be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery (No!). Although it was not an easy job to collect information, we enjoyed ourselves there!
